[Meme] Ask a character
October 10th, 2007 04:58 pmI'm not sure I've accumulated enough stories yet for this meme to work, but it looks like fun, so let me try it and see what happens:
Leave a comment to ask any of my characters, from any of my stories, any question you want, and "they" will answer you! (Warning: there may be story spoilers in these comments.)
Hope everyone's Meta fics are proceeding apace. Mine, well ... I might make it by Sunday ... I hope.

Date: 2007-10-11 03:51 am (UTC)After I found out, though, it made sense, in an odd sort of way. Lupin was Moony, after all. Purveyor of Aids to Magical Mischief Makers. I don't suppose there's much he wouldn't have been able to do, if he'd put his mind to it.

I'm pleased to say that the freaks generally left us alone -- until the letters started coming, of course. That shabby Lupin person heeded my wishes and stayed away from the house; he never tried to visit Harry again. Once or twice over the years, I thought I saw him -- at the market, or passing on a crowded street. But when I tried to get a closer look, I was never quite sure it was him.
Snape never came around asking after the boy, which was quite a relief.
There were odd-looking people who stared at us now and then, but usually I could frown at them and make them go away.
No, the only other problem we had was when some girlfriend of Lily's started sending cards to the boy for holidays. Vernon wrote back and told her in no uncertain terms to stop, and that put an end to it.
(I suppose you're a friend of the boy's yourself, maybe from that school of his? I do wonder, from time to time, whatever did happen to him...)
