In the bleak(?) midwinter

shimotsuki...actually, today has been rather warm and cosy, because we got together with friends we hadn't seen for a while and had a fun dinner out. So "bleak" wasn't really fair. ;)
I've been very much AWOL on all my social-media accounts for the last couple of years -- not that I have that many to start with, but anyway. I ported my LiveJournal content over here months ago, after having sort of faded out on LJ too, and vowed to use that as an excuse to get more active here. But this is the first post I've even made. Heh.
The next couple of months are looking extra-busy at work, so I may fall off the face of the earth again, but at least now I've broken the ice at Dreamwidth. Maybe I'll be able to keep up a little better this time. (And, for those Remus/Tonks fanfic and fanart people out there, there may even be an announcement of interest coming soon.)
