What should I work on next?

It's Fall Break! (hooray) No classes yesterday or today. I'm spending some time with visiting out-of-town friends, which is very nice, but I'm also hoping to get to spend some time on fic-writing. And now that I've finally finished "Order", it's time for some more in the Kaleidoscope series. But I've got a whole bunch of WIPs and extra plotbunnies...which seemed like a good excuse to code a poll. :)

I may only have time to write one more fic before the holiday busy-ness starts. What should I work on?

My heart says "Landslide" and my head says "Moon By Moon", heh. And the wheels for "Fascinated" are turning after Order...

For some reason I've been avoiding the very first part of Kaleidoscope -- maybe there's a certain sense of pressure for getting it right? But that might be a good reason to work on it. And it's not like I don't have lots of fragments, some with lots of dust and cobwebs...

Do you think there are five must do/pressure cooker R/T stories to tell? First meeting, hospital wing scene, wedding, after chapter 11 DH and Teddy being born... I'm unable to consider there might be a sixth and final one, as that is one I shall never tell unless in AU style!

It can be fun dusting cobwebs off and seeing what lies beneath, lol. Though it looks like you might have a clear winner now.

I think you're absolutely right. On all counts, including the absence of that sixth crucial scene, heh.

There might be one other must-do moment, but this one is so far offstage that fanfic authors have an enormous amount of leeway in where, when, and how they make it happen. I'm thinking of the confrontation there must have been between Remus and Tonks when he pushed her away for the duration of HBP -- whether this is conceived of as a break-up or (as in mine) a nipping in the bud.

I don't know about a "clear" poll winner at the moment, since the vote tally is currently 3-4-3! But it's also looking like this won't be a big week for non-work writing. :/ That might be a reason to go with the one that's closest to finished, which would be Moon By Moon.
