["Kaleidoscope" update] Stripes

My plan was for the next thing I finished to be either Chapter 3 of "All Will Be In Order" (it's so close! there's just one crucial conversation that won't cooperate!), or else a certain DH-era, Andromeda POV fic I didn't manage to finish for the last rt_challenge.

Nope. For some reason, I found myself going back to early OotP, to finish a "Kaleidoscope" installment that pulls together and expands on two ficlets I wrote more than a year ago. But I've learned it doesn't pay to fight plotbunnies...

  Sirius discovers that Tonks is unaware of something rather important about Remus, so he takes matters into his own hands -- betting that the growing friendship between his cousin and his best friend is strong enough to survive the revelation.
  
  Author's note: Half of this story is a revision of a couple of ficlets posted at rt_challenge in January 2007, Stripes and Revelations. The other half consists of two new sections from Tonks's point of view.

I'm glad you didn't fight the plotbunnies - they can be vicious creatures and I would have feared for your health! ;) Own of my muses is being very heavyhanded with wanting my attention and also wanting to expand quite a bit on the graphic novel, and it is completely impossible to ignore him!

Oh and I hope your search for Sandman has more luck. I borrowed them all at the library, maybe you could try there too?
