New(ish) fic posts

It's been busy, busy, busy at work these days. I'm finally caught up with reading at redandthewolf, but I'm still reading at rt_challenge -- so many nice posts there this challenge!

I did manage to finish something to contribute for redandthewolf, although it was right at the last minute again (sigh). This is the fic that I was soliciting location suggestions for, a few weeks back -- Sheffield won the vote, so that's what I went with. Sheffield actually only has a walk-on part in this fic, but I may write follow-ups later.

• Erosion (1728 words | PG/mild profanity) -- Remus is moving, and James is sulking, because he really isn't fond of change.

Also, all four parts of the DH Remus-goes-home-and-grovels fic that I was writing for rt_challenge are finished now. It was fun writing this, since I got to be angsty and romantic in the span of the same story. ;)

• All That I Am (6422 words | PG-13/mild profanity, intimate situations)

Coming soon(?): an Andromeda-POV DH fic that I started for rt_challenge but didn't finish in time, and (*gasp*) a new chapter of All Will Be In Order...maybe...by the end of the month?

Anyone would think you've learnt not to make firm dates set in stone, much like I have. ;)

Mmmm.... It's the piece of "Kaleidoscope" that comes right before "All That I Am," and it's (probably) called "Breaking Point." That mopey reticent werewolf husband that Nymphadora brought home a few days ago comes to life in a crisis, and Andromeda starts to understand what her daughter sees in him. And then he goes and does something absolutely unforgivable. (I'm clearly going to get a reputation for being all dark all the time. But I see it as getting those parts of DH handled, so we can get on with Potterwatch and and cuddling...)

I can't wait until we get this fic from you with Remus attempting to broadcast Potterwatch with Tonks sat on his knee. ;)

And, joking apart, I'll look forward to the Andromeda one. I really enjoy fics with other characters observing them and the relationship, and Andromeda is so interesting in her own right.

*sobs uncontrollably* OH MY GOSH! You had me in tears during the whole segment with Lupin feeling like a jerk for leaving Tonks. I cried when he thought that she wanted him to leave her and when he thought that their son would want him to go away. I loved this. I'm so glad that Remus and Tonks were still in love at the end of Deathly Hallows and this. It makes me so sad to think that they were killed in the book. But, anyway wonderful job as always and I hope that if I ever write fanfictions that they can be as good as these. You're like my inspiration.

Thank you for the kind words! It must have been a huge blow to Tonks when Remus left her again, so it was interesting to think about how they might have mended their relationship afterward.
