Fic recs! And a welcome to LJ.

So (so), there are some fics I've been meaning to rec for a while now, but I've been remiss. (I've also been remiss about commenting, grr. Good thing there's a holiday break coming up?)

But the exciting news is, there's a new addition to the fandom for Megan Whalen Turner's Thief series: meldahlie (at fanfiction.net). I've known her for a while as a Potter and Narnia fic-writer, with lots of wonderfully written, character-focused, short gems of stories. So it's fantastic that she's writing Thief fic now too. (And if there's anyone out there who hasn't read MWT's series yet, (a) go have a look ASAP and (b) you might not want to read any fic before you read canon, because this series has wonderful twisty plots and it's well worth avoiding spoilers.)

And I'm not sure if meldahlie wants her identities to cross, so I'll say no more here, but she may have recently joined LJ. :D So, welcome!

Thank you so much for such a lovely welcome and recommendation!! And no, I don't mind my identity crossing LJ-to-FFN-wards, so here I am. (FFN to LJ? Not so sure yet ... keep it mum, ok, anyone? :)
