Observant readers of this scintillating journal (ha!) may have noticed that there's been a certain lack of discussion of any Remus/Tonks holiday drabble/drawble event, even though I told several people I'd be hosting one again this holiday season.

There's a good reason for that lack, which I hope will prove to be a fun one. ;) For now, let me just say: stay tuned, and if you're looking for something to do while you're standing in line at the post office to mail your holiday packages like I'll be doing ... use your time wisely by conjuring up R/T related fic and art prompts.

I always wanted someone to conjure an AU meeting between R/T before The Second War starting. Something believable. Remus running into some trouble with the auror department etc. Just a thought :)

And I will be drawing this holiday so throw some prompts at me :D

That would be fun -- looks like a good prompt to me, and there may be prompts for you to use for art as well. ;)

(Actually, jncar has a story kind of like what you're describing, in case that tides you over in the meantime -- if I remember correctly, it's called "The Rookie". And there's a WIP on fanfiction.net called "With Fingers Crossed" by ThisLoveHasNoCeiling that also has them meeting up when Tonks is a new Auror. Oh, and mrstater's story Snidgets? I'm pretty sure that was posted at Meta.)
