Snape's last line just gave me chills. Knowing what she thought of him, and what he was really doing, that is such a great line; I hadn't given much thought to how much Snape must have relied on the other teachers to help keep the students safe. Also, the line "quicker than a Kneazle chasing a mouse" is great, too. The world doesn't have enough good MacGonagall fics; cheers for this one
