Good take on the darkness of Hogwarts in Harry's-would-be-seventh-year. We never really got an idea of what Hogwarts was like in the last one, other than that Snape was headmaster and the Death Eaters pretty much ran the school, not to mention the Ministry of Magic: And of course, that, Neville, Luna, and Ginny had sort of replaced the trio and were trying to resist Voldemort's influential control of the school.
Your McGonagall is great, here. Snape's personality seems right-on-the-money as well. It's nice to see you branching out of your R/T fic-verse a little bit.
