Winterval is coming!

Odds are, anyone reading this has seen the following elsewhere already. ;) But just in case you haven't, let me announce:

Winterval is the newest event at the coolest original fiction/art community out there, pulped_fictions. It runs from Dec 1st through March 7th, and involves a whole stockingful of different-sized writing and art challenges -- who could say no to challenges with names like "Mince Spies," "Oh Deer," or "Mull It Over"?

You have to join the community to participate, but everybody's very friendly, and members range from people who are lucky if they write 500 words of original fiction a year (*cough*ME*cough*) to people who have already published novels, plus a cohort of super-talented artists.

Oh, no worries! I'm sure you've got a lot on your plate right now!

Also: I haven't quite started writing my chalion_ibra piece yet, but there's some heavy-duty mental outlining going on. ;) Very excited for that challenge!

Which reminds me, I need to go and make a mod post...

I haven't actually started mine either, but I'm pretty sure I know what I'm going to write. It's pretty exciting - can't wait to read everyone's stuff. :)
