Heh, I even slipped a not funny for Tonks into Part 1 to set things up for Part 2; working that theme out was kind of fun... I enjoyed trying out Madam Pomfrey, too. I strongly suspect her of absolutely adoring Remus.
Best of all is Remus saying all the things he should -- I like to think that even after all the growing and changing Remus must have done in DH year to get to Potterwatch and Shell Cottage, he can face up to his duties unflinchingly, but it's still hard for him to admit it when he actually wants something. Or, even worse, believe that he deserves to have it. So he's really making a Herculean effort for Sirius here, poor thing.
We need more hours in the day;) -- That is all too true. Although I'm personally very happy to hear that you have several fics in the pipeline!
