This is a lovely, satisfying end to your story - and also would have been to that one in that book we won't mention. I really liked how, as usual, you gave every character a chance to shine. I particularly enjoyed Tonks and her repetiton of it should have been funny until, finally, joyfully, things are again, Madam Pomfrey and her rather wonderful enlarging-the-bed moment, Lily's astute observations of what was going on underneath Remus' apparent calm, and Dumbledore and Nicolas Flamel knocking back chocolate croissants and gossiping amidst scarlet geraniums is an image to treasure! Best of all is Remus saying all the things he should, and not hesitating about going back to his family. It was a great ending as well to have Lily listening to the birdsong in the meadow he'd created.

I really enjoyed this, it was a lovely read to start my day. :) And you sound as if you've as many fics on the go as me! (I hope you get chance one day to do that post-war one. We need more hours in the day;))
