I remember that, and I recall being mortified that there were typos in my posted-at-the-deadline story too. :( But I enjoyed writing the story and I wouldn't have posted something I thought was complete dreck, so I took the modly comments as an expression of frustration over a competition that stresses participation over quality. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)

I definitely don't think you should be intimidated by the writing of others though. Youre awesome and I love reading your contributions!
