Yeah, poor dy Ferrej with no one of his social rank around to be able to tell his news to! ;)

I've thought some about the glimpse of dy Ferrej we get through Ista's eyes in Paladin. She's annoyed as heck at the way he hems her in, but even with that she can't really dislike him, and I think that says a lot about his character. That, and the way he chastises Iselle after the incident with racing the horses too hard.
