This gave me so many warm fuzzy birthday feelings! Yes yes yes to a "bit of a snog"!

I also love your choice of descriptors here - "wiggling Teddy" and "a voice too gentle for the spiky hair and the dragonhide jacket." They paint the scene so well. :)
